Tarling.
Tarling is a musical art with a guitar and a flute as the main instruments. The tarling songs are taken from the folksongs of people living at the north coast of Java (look just down the page).

There are a couple of London Streets in Victorian times named Tarling: Tarling Road, Docklands E16;  Tarling Road, East Finchley N2 and Tarling Street, Aldgate / Spitalfields E1

In the book "The Devil's Daffodil" by Edgar Wallace (1920) the main character is named Jack Tarling; in 1961 it was filmed in German as "Das Geheimnis der gelben Narzissen"

Component Sales Inc. of Santa Rosa, California 95407 U.S.A. has an e-mail address of tarling@sonic.net, but we don't know if there is a Tarling associated with CSI.

The Willis Museum, Basingstoke, Hampshire UK has a watch key, supplied by W P Tarling, clockmaker and jeweller, Dorking, Surrey, 19th century.
