John from Bristol U.K. is the mainstay of the Tarling Family Historical & Research Society in the U.K.

John is a Solicitor (Lawyer) in Brighton U.K.

John age 47 from Cumberland ME USA recorded a good time in the 17th Annual Clam Festival Classic Five Mile Run in July 1998. and came 3rd. in his age group in the Casco Bay Half Marathon 1997 in 21st. overall. Links down August 1999

John is doing well in his cross-country skiing in New England (seeing this page of overall New England skiing we find John E. is from Cumberland and looks suspiciously like the runner above - that is one fit man for you).

Les wrote "Searching for Hannah" (scroll about a third of the way down this Bloor page to find it) Hannah Bloor married Les's gt/gt/gt.grandfather Thomas Tarling at St. Luke's Church, Old Street, London in 1810, it's a fascinating story.
