In the 1851 census covering Daglingworth in Gloucestershire UK Cecila Tarling ASHMEAD age 10 months (but there are no other Tarlings in Dalingworth, perhaps her Mother, Eliza was a Tarling?).

In the March Quarter of 1849 John Tarling was married in Gloster (sic) in the U.K. as detailed in Vol 11, page 349, it seems to us that his wife was Elizabeth Cambridge Walker

Graham Pitt's UK BDM exchange lists the birth certificates for Linnie Louisa Tarling born 18/05/1872 Bishops Cleeve Gloucestershire and Richard Tarling born 17/04/1838 Gotherington Gloucestershire  as well as the marriage of Richard Tarling to Harriet Russell on 31/08/1862 Cheltenham Gloucestershire.
