The excellent new free BDM index lists the marriage of William Tarling in Pershore (Ref.: Vol. 18 p 479) in the March Quarter of 1849, but they need volunteers: only 0.1% is done so far...

In Herefordshire U.K. Tarling in the Pencoyd area, 1860-1890 is being researched by Sfmov@btinternet.com see this Herefordshire Family History Society page. In fact it seems Stuart Moverley is researching Tarling in Monmouthshire and Gloucestershire as well.
