The construction and programming of the Database itself has been improved and a large number of records have been correlated, cross checked and grouped into individuals (so for instance for one person you may be able to link to birth or baptism, marriage, death or burial, Will and all census records, as well as their parents, spouse and children).

Jan 2003: The Tarling Database now has more than 20,000 records.

One of the main aims of the Tarling family history database and web team is to develop and expand the Tarling database; this project is headed by Kevin Tarling who has designed and developed the database and has accumulated a lot of data but would like more please...

We are now just starting an entirely separate web site for contributors to the Tarling database. If you are a contributor to the Tarling database you will receive an invitation with username, password and further details, if you can't wait please

All the full IGI (NOT the limited on-line version) entries for Tarling and all variations (all items which are not on this Tarling website at all), particularly those before 1837.
All the current Tarling entries for UK Births, Marriages and Deaths - MORE than the website, and the latest updates, including all the references and any further information we have.
All Commonwealth War Graves Commission entries for anyone with a surname beginning Tarlin
A number of privately collected Tarling records, from GEDCOM files, family records etc.
All U.K. Tarlin...  Wills and Administrations from 1858 onwards;  US Social Security deaths index; more to come...
Census records: full 1881 Great Britain plus 1851 extracts for Essex, Gloucestershire, London & Middlesex, Wiltshire etc. plus others as submitted
A most powerful search engine: specify what, when or where, but all within limits (i.e. Tarling marriages in the area of West Ham between March 1817 and December 1822)
 
 

If you are sending in any data the following format would make the accurate recording much easier:

Name,  First name, Middle name(s), surname
Birth, date and place
Death, date and place
Father, First name, Middle name, surname
Mother, First name, middle name, maiden name
Marriage, date and place
Spouse, First name, middle name, maiden name
Other data,  anything of interest (career, awards, date of emigration etc.)
