An introduction to the civil records (and a guide to the columns in the files; and a guide to the notes)

We have provided compact search files for Tarling births, marriages and deaths from July 1837 which only record name, date and district. In some cases we have further details on the database, including Volume, Page,  a reference to someone reasearching that individual, dates for marriage(s), who they married, dates for death, whether they emigrated, a note of a Will etc.  These 10 year files linked below have some of those additional details added under the notes column.
