Suspicious Characters...

I fear geeks whilst bearing gifs...
Well here's one for you to look out for, fleetingly captured on our digital camera system one evening recently.  Six foot six if he is an inch, wearing a Metropolitan Police uniform and claiming to be P.C. Paul Moore of South Norwood and Croydon Division, based at Norbury nick. Seen loitering around our Neighbourhood Watch, wandering down dark alleyways accosting guilty burglars, house-breakers, car theives and vandals (guilty burglars, house-breakers, car theives and vandals please see this page). He says he's not wearing a helmet here because he doesn't want to damage the ceiling. Looks as if he is related to Michael Atherton.  And they say you're old when the policemen look young...
And here's a likely character for you: just by using a dog-collar he claims to be related or known to all manor of people, wandering around our Neighbourhood Watch with or without his trusty sidekick known as Jamie (who also wears a dog collar). He may look almost plausible claiming to care for the poor and nerdy of the parish (yes nerdy, well they're aren't any poor and needy in our Neighbourhood Watch). A gentleman and an Oxford scholar? Norwood by name and Norwood by nature...

Actually, April fooling aside please be careful when accepting visitors to your house - don't take them at face value just because they have an identification card you don't recognise. Please check first;  if in doubt: keep them out.
