From Crown Point there is a good selection of buses, particularly serving a number of rail and underground stations. Please note the guide timetables below are often optimistic, especially when traffic is heavy, and of course out of the busiest times allow twice the interval between buses quoted below, and early morning and late evening allow three times the quoted best times. Fares are now usually 70p local or £1 for a longer journey.

This service also returns
in the afternoon/evening leaving Russell Square at 15:50, 16:20, 16:50,
17:10, 17:30, 17:50, 18:20 and 18:50 only, picking up at Holborn Aldwych
and Waterloo only. The timetable is to pick up from Waterloo (on Waterloo
Road, almost opposite Holmes Terrace) 17 minutes after leaving Russell
Square and travel non-stop from Waterloo to West Norwood taking 35 minutes
from Waterloo to get to Crown Point. And these services also continue
on to Thornton Heath and West Croydon.
