Find the marriage of Johannes Wilhelmus Schmelzer to Joanna Abeele [their son Leendert was born 14 Mar 1849 in Vlissingen, but I can't see the marriage in the 10 jarigs Vlissingen from 1843 onwards, so presumably try previously?]
Find the marriage of Frederick Brandenburg to Catharine van der Lenden  [their daughter Frederika was born 22 Sep 1854, so I'm surprised I can't find the marriage in Vlissingen from 1843 onwards.  Perhaps try earlier or look for siblings of Frederika if Brandenburg is not a common name, start from the end of 1853 and work backwards in 10 jarigs or they could have married before 1843 or married elsewhere?]
Find the marriage of Johannes Franciscus Smalle to Isabella Velaire [Wait to find the birth of Maria Clementia Smalle, or try 1820s in IJzendijk area]

Confirm and check the siblings of Carolus Franciscus de Smit [Check the possible names list for Hoofdplaat 1853 to 1882 - there must be at least 3 families de Smit living there over that period, so check the parents' names. Hoofdplaat geboorten 1857 to at least 1880?  Could also extend this to 1883 to 1892 Hoofdplaat geboorten 10 jarigs]
Confirm and check the siblings of Catharina Schmelzer [extend to include Vlissingen geboorten 10 jarigs 1893 to 1902. Check the possible names from 1873 to 1882 - it could be every one of them - Vlissinger geboorten 1873 to at least 1892 ]
