Since this site is brought to you by the swallows we get to see a good overview of the area, and we've been told that not only old hands at Orchard Cottage visit this site but also some newcomers, so we're giving you directions and maps. Orchard Cottage is just 39 seconds as the swallow flies from Junction 8 of the M25 (humans have to go a slightly longer way round).  If you want to see an overview of the area (O.S.), click on the map below, there is a link back to this page below the map on that page.
 
From the east, west or south aim for the M25 Junction 8.  Then go north on the A217 (towards London) about a mile to the first roundabout, turn right at that roundabout into Babylon Lane and then a couple of hundred yards down turn left (with care please) down a very small entrance into the stables (you will probably drive past it the first time).

From the immediate north and/or London aim for the southbound A217 and at the Lower Kingswood roundabout, the last one before the M25 turn left into Babylon Lane (where you see the direction sign on the adjacent wall to Orchard Cottage Riding Stables!), and then a couple of hundred yards down turn left (with care please) down a very small entrance into the stables (you will probably drive past it the first time).  If you overshoot on the A217 you will come to junction 8 of the M25 just a mile or so on; just go 180 degrees back round the junction and follow the directions above.
